'Basic' vocabulary list

As part of my research work, I've come across this list in an old (50 year old) Chinese book that's used to collect different dialects' words for different things (like a Swadesh list, if you know what they are).

Anyway, I've been entering it into my computer, so I can keep the dialect transcriptions next to their Mandarin meaning and adding the English meaning (and some pinyin where I can't remember the character 100%).

So I thought I'd post bits of it here. There are almost 1000 words in the list, and some of them are useless, but a lot of them are words I found quite useful, but had never come across them before.

{Edit: As far as I know this should be public domain - it's only a list of words after all, given that I made the translations}
