Adding punctuation to pinyin to make it easier to read

Would it be at all possible to add punctuation to the pinyin found in lessons, like has been done to the Chinese characters? I understand pinyin isn’t the written form of Chinese but I feel this would allow users to follow along with the pinyin more easily and see what characters relate to each phrase.

For example:

Current:
水果，零食，有需要的吗？
Shuǐ guǒ líng shí yǒu xū yào de ma

Proposed:
水果，零食，有需要的吗？
Shuǐ guǒ, líng shí, yǒu xū yào de ma?

I agree this would be better, but the pinyin is system generated, (with staff edits to fix errors) and when it was made some years back, they didn’t add this in. The task of changing this without affecting our publishing system could prove very difficult.
