The Chinese knotting is a decorative art form that started around the Tang and Song Dynasty. It originally represented pure folklore status and didn’t have much value. But as time evolved, people began to appreciate the beauty of each decorative knot and it began to represent a complex art form that can also signify success. It then passed around to different regions in Asia with each country coming up with their own distinctive features.
