Hi, I have found what I was looking for. Radio France Interntional (RFI) has two daily podcasts discussing news adnd current topics.
Look for RFI 要问解说 and 要问分析
The Japanese radio NHK also has a daily podcast in mandarin (search for NHK World Chinese) , but it seems that it is more focused on Japanese news.
