Is there a dictionary that shows tonal & pronunciation differences between Mainland and Taiwan

Hi @YuQinCai, @Constance_Fang, @Fiona and the ChinesePod team, my question is this:

So, I have learned that certain characters and words have slightly different tones and/or pronunciations between the two countries, for example,

建筑 (建築) would be pronounced as “jian4 zhu4” in PRC but “jian4 zhu2” in ROC.

头发 (頭髮) the last character would be “fa4” in Mainland but “fa3” in Taiwan.

骤 (驟) the official pronunciation in China is “zhou4” but in Taiwan, it’s “zou4”.

Is there a dictionary or a complete list of characters and words that are said differently (tone or pronunciation or both) between the two countries?

Thanks.

Try typing “Cross-Straits Dictionary” into your favorite Internet search engine.

If you have Pleco, this dictionary is also available as a free download

yes, i should have mentioned that; it’s under Add-ons / Dictionaries / All Free Dictionaries / Cross-Straits Chinese Dictionary in the Pleco app.
