A Taiwanese 30-something female friend of mine introduced me to the term 小鲜肉 a few years ago, and she explained it as something like “toy boy” or 小白脸
and here it is cropping up in a NYT story
Where it’s described more as a young hunky hot pop star.
Can we please have a lesson on 小鲜肉！
