I was just wondering if the Frederick’s teaching of pronunication is based on mainland Chinese speakers, Taiwanese speakers, or both?

Any difference’s are usually highlighted in the show. The default pronunciation tips are for “standard mandarin”, and not Taiwan mandarin.
