Is there a Chinesepod resource - and if not could we start one - that lists common vocab that are different in taiwan and on the mainland
for example
Taxi – 计程车 (TW), 出租车 (ML)
Pineapple – 凤梨 (TW), 菠萝 (ML)

There is also a free dictionary on Pleco called the Cross Straits Chinese Dictionary which has thousands of entries.
Here at ChinesePod we try and teach what “most” people would understand, wherever you are, but will highlight any words that are more common in China or Taiwan.
