I just watched the video on the finals ui, iu, un, ün.
It was said that combined with ‘zh’ or ‘sh’ ‘ui’ sounds more like ‘ay’.
Now when I listen to pronunciations of ‘sui’ or ‘zui’ I get the impression that there it does really sound more like a ‘ui’. Is it correct that there is a difference in between those different initials?

yes, they are totally difference with different initials." zh and sh" should make the top of your tongue up when you read them. " z and s", just make your tongue flat against your bottom teeth.
