Using similar verbs

Hi @YuQinCai, @Constance_Fang @Fiona and the ChinesePod team, my question is this:

What’s the difference between using 看到了versus 看见了? Or can both be used interchangeably?

看到了- To have seen something. 看见了- More like something that came into one’s sight. They could be used interchangeably, but I would say that 到 is to really have seen something and if you use 见 its like you glanced at it, it was in your sight but you didn’t really see see it. I hope this helps. Off the cuff they are similar however they do have slight differences.

看到了and 看见了 are interchangeable.
