我在台灣學中文，看書的時候，我發現「關心」跟「開心」。
我覺得「關」跟「開」是相反的字 可是，為什麼開心是高興的意思，關心是在英文的 “take care”
我已經問老師跟我的台灣朋友，他們都回答，回的不好。

我觉得这句话里的”关"不是跟”关门“一样的，而是好像”关于“的”关“。。。你的心就是对那个人有”关心”，“就是有一种关系，所以你想叫他要更小心，这样的意思。如果我错的话，请老师们纠正我吧， 我也想知道！感谢！

The short answer is normally 開 and 關 are opposites. In this case the two phrasal verbs containing them are not.
關心 means “to care”
開心 means “to be happy”
開心 referers to having an “open heart” to not be overly cautious, but to instead open your heart and enjoy yourself, i.e. to “be happy.”
Whereas 關心，to care, might be coming from the idea of controlling influence of your own heart allowing you instead to focus on others, a more guarded approach than “開心“。

好多沒法從字面去理解。比如：“開心”
這個詞，算得上可以從字面理解的，當我們的心靈坦坦蕩蕩的打開，放下心頭束縛和欲望，自然就會快樂，會“開心”的；
可是，開關開關，開和關可是地地道道的反義詞了，但“關心”就一下子成了另外的意思了。
要是沿著“開心”的思路，關心就是關閉心靈，把就肯定是無比痛苦煩惱的意思了吧？可是，我們的老祖宗有時候也不守規矩，居然把關心弄成了風馬牛不相及的另外的意思，變成「與心相關」了。
義詞是因為意義相反才是反義詞，而不是根據字的基本意思相對。很對詞都是一字多義的。
我是上課被問到這個問題的，學生說為什麼關於心得單詞那麼多，但是意思卻沒有關係呢。小心就是 (take care), 小心眼就是非常計較，心胸不夠開放，不大方。開心是打開心，所以高興，但是關上心，為什麼成了擔憂了呢？
查了一下，首先開心和關心，解釋的是開和關的意思，開這裡是打開的意思，但是關不是關閉的意思，應該是關懷，關鍵的意思。
關本義是門閂的意思，就是關門的一根橫木，後來衍生出關鍵的意思，表示把對方放在心裡。其次是小心和小心眼，還有小心點。（雖然你沒問）我覺得小心是從粗心細心演變的，表示謹慎。而小心眼是指心眼的尺寸。恩恩，我這樣解釋，他們一定能明白的。
中國字，一字多義，所以關，可以是關門，關懷，關照 。所以不能依照 一個意思去「萬用」，可是參照 上下文，再來 判讀。
You are right. 开 and 关 are antonym. 开 means open/turn on. 关 means close/turn off
However, when they are put in a word individually, they have a diff meaning though. 关心 means to care about and 开心 means “happy”

因為這樣，我們不能說「開」和「關」一定是相反的，我們要看「這個字在這裡是什麼意思」才知道他們是不是相反的。而在這裡，開心是happy，開心的開是to open，關心是care，關心的關是contact，所以他們並不是反義詞（相反的意思）。
