NEW iOS app update problems again!

New version has several problems:
When playing my playlist on continuous mode, it doesn’t continue to next lesson but stop instead
When paying playlist and pressing the forward button, the application shut down
Only traditional characters are possible. Even when I change in the account page it doesn’t save the new setting and go back to traditional characters

After so long you had an iOS application which was finally working fine. Why releasing and update which is worse than the previous one without event test it?

I am also having problems with the new app. All of my downloads have disappeared and this is the only feature that makes Chinesepod worthwhile for me as I work from my iPad whilst commuting every day (with no internet). I waited AGES to finally be able to download lessons and now it has gone again :frowning:

After logging back in my doenloads re-appeared.
Anyway, the app settings are always going back to traditional characters.

Is it possible to make the previous version available for download?

I thought Taiwan was IT specialised country. But here every time they make our life miserable with this application

I’m not even able to login after downloading the new app. Where can we download the old one?

Mine is also completely broken now as well and I can’t even log in… please help

Sorry I don’t know how to take a video of the iphone screen. When I enter my email and password and click ‘sign in’, the ChinesePod icon flashes for a second and then disappears, and then nothing happens.

Still does not work and I get a “not connected to Internet” error. Seems like the problem is that the app is not recognising that I have an Internet connection - videos at the start screen also do not load (prior to login).

Could you tell me:

  • Have you tested internet with other app ?
  • Are you using VPN ?
  • Where are you (your country) now ?

Based in HKG, No VPN, have tried other internet so don’t think it’s an internet problem. Could the issue be because I am using an older iOS (9.3.4)? I have not upgraded to the latest because it will slow down my phone.

I’m also using IOS 9.3 so this could be the issue.

I updated to the latest IOS and now it works.

Yeah, lots of bugs, but that “go back 5 seconds” button is super useful
